Making way for ZOZO: the Sunseeker 131 Yacht needs to get to London Boat Show

Zozo, the new Sunseeker 131 Yacht gliding in front of the London City Airport on the way to London Boat Show

The 2016 London Boat Show will open its doors today, on Friday, January 8, and will last until January 17. The unrivaled beau - there’s simply too much masculinity and power to call the "belle" - of the London Boat Show ball made news when it arrived at the entrance of King George V Lock. The news, of course, latched on the fact that London City Airport temporarily closed its runway to allow ZOZO to pass. For us, on the other hand, the news is about the world premier of the brand new superyacht by Sunseeker- the biggest boat ever to make its debut at the event.

The fact that there are already no less than five 131 yachts pre-sold at the moment and the fact that Sunseeker will be hosting exclusive previews of the 131 Yacht for customers which will include a private transfer by an Helicopter from their homes to Excel during the show, is of far greater import. Zozo will definitely be a hotspot!

The new 131 Yacht is based on the classic Sunseeker deep V hull, making it capable of operating at 10 knots for an extended cruising range of 1,500 nautical miles as well as a thrilling 23 knots for those of us that love a good bow wave. On the inside, this yacht continues Sunseeker’s tradition of unparalleled quality and attention to detail coupled with an even greater flexibility in terms of owner dictated customization. The owner and no less than ten guests can relish a spacious main deck (lounge, separate dining area and full galley) and a palatial upper deck with its sky lounge, cocktail bar and access to the skydeck.

As a Sunseeker distributor, Rick Obey & Associates will be one of the first to step aboard the 131 and give you our own perspective on what’s what at this London Boat Show edition. We will be back soon with more!
